In AUS, there is not any announcement for luggage belt. An announcement would be helpful to new arrivals to this airport. Very uncomfortable. See other notes about dessert. When the person in front of my reclined, I wasn't even able to open my tray all the way to eat. Flight was delayed for takeoff, that wasn't the airline's fault air traffic so that didn't factor in my review. Although the food is generally tasty, the dessert could be upgraded. She was nice enough by offering me ice, and said that once I hear the announcement ''boarding complete'' I can get up and look for a more comfortable seat.
When I did that she asked me to go back to my seat immediately without letting me speak, and not once during the 13hr 30 min flight did she come to check if I needed anything. Food was served twice, a 13hr 30 min flight and food was served twice. It was almost impossible to call flight attendants if you needed water, coffee or was starving.. Definitely going with Emirates next time, the service there doesn't even compare! I would fly with Delta again.

I had no options to select a seat when I checked in or made my reservation that wasn't an extra charge. I'mover 6' tall and middle seats are painful, especially cross country. Airlines need to be a little more attentive to their customers' needs.
If a passenger is taller than average, and the flight is more than 60 minutes, provide comfortable seating at no extra charge. If a customer has a short layover, which their system knows about since it is the sourve of the flight plans, put the customer toward the front of the aircraft since these flights are habitually late and customers end up having to sprint through airports to try to make connections.

Hospitality is respected when customer is helped when they are in trouble not when they is happily boarded. I have to travel from Milan to San Francisco and I missed flight of my one leg milan to frankfurt of journeyand I went for help and non of the Lufthansa staff at Milan airport helped me. Chairs in economy are rarely cleaned up and one can see on the cushions that they are worn out and have lost their padding making the seats very uncomfortable. There was no foot rest available which is such a simple addition that helps a lot and the "holder pocket" on the seat in front was a simple net completely useless. Tables were dirty suggesting they were never cleaned and disinfected.
Knowing that the highest source of viruses are the tray tables and the pockets in front I would expect attention to be focused on those- it not only impacts the health of the traveler but more important that of the crew. Why is it so hard to think of this business two fold: make revenue but mostly be kind to humans.

The food quality control was disappointing. The meal I had on the first leg of my flight Mumbai-Munich , I noticed that it expired by about 2 weeks.
And the complimentary water bottles also had a past expiration date although, I don't know how water expires. Generally speaking, I think all of the meals I ate on Lufthansa were subpar compared to the many Asian airlines I've used for overseas flights.
Quality could be improved and I think there's a missed opportunity to incorporate meal options correlated to the airline or international destinations German airline, why not bratwurst? Pretzel bread? Plus: "The very gracious crew kept coming by with drinks and snacks, as well as lunch and dinner in coach.
The entertainment system is top notch, with a few dozen movies, lots of TV shows and more, with screens for each seat. The only complaint is that there's not much space between seats, so that when the person in front of you leans back, things can get tight.
On the plus side, the bathrooms are downstairs down a short staircase and there's plenty of waiting room, so you don't get the usual congestion. Overall, a wonderful experience for an intercontinental flight.

Announcements were to difficult to understand. Also in the gate area, I couldn't understand names at all. Need to slow down and speak more clearly. The practice of placing 4 cribs together on the bulkhead encouraged one baby to set the others off screaming. The passenger in front of me almost immediately reclined her chair right into my face, making an irritable experience on a long flight for me. That is the only flaw in your service in my experience. Didn't feel as dark as the first flight. Lufthansa gives you food, and has friendly service. SAS gives you coffee and tea. On Austrian and Swiss I didn't get anything. For same price range and same alliance, that is a point I keep in mind. Now I mainly try to get onto Lufthansa flights or Turkish Airlines which is my favorite. Even on Aegean, I got better food, and the magazine was better, plus there were some monitors to track the flight.

When I boarded the overhead luggage was full could not find space to secure my bags. The flight attendant was very rude did not assist me and made me wait. Other people traveling without luggage pushed me to pass by. I was told not very nice things. The flight was overbooked and overall horible experience.
