SCVRC was established in making it one of the oldest shooting clubs in the United States with a long proud history of promoting responsible and safe firearms ownership and shooting activity. The range provided services to a wide and diverse audience including youth shooters, the LGBTQ community and many other groups at affordable rates in a safe and friendly venue.

The Club has requested alterations to the proposed building plans or access to alternate San Jose properties. Unfortunately, at this time the City of San Jose Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services is no longer interested in continuing to support the shooting sports and the unique opportunity for firearm safe handling training that the Club has provided at this location.
